At BryanIbelita, Disney is our whole world. So when magic like this lands right here in our backyard, you can bet we’re first in line. We caught wind that Disney Garden of Wonder was coming back to Gardens by the Bay for round two, and honestly?
We cleared our schedules. We had to be among the first to walk through those doors at Floral Fantasy. And we’re happy to report that it was absolutely worth it.
What’s New This Year?
The exhibition officially opened on 8 June 2026 and will run all the way until 14 March 2027. That gives everyone plenty of time to visit, but honestly, the magic feels extra special right at the start.
This year’s showcase features over 20 Disney and Pixar character topiaries spread across six themed zones . The biggest news? Anna, Elsa, and Olaf from Frozen are making their floral debut right here in Singapore . Walking through a snowy landscape in tropical Singapore is already a trip, but seeing the Arendelle sisters rendered entirely in flowers and preserved plants? That’s something else entirely.
The Frozen zone comes with an interactive floor installation inspired by Elsa’s Ice Palace, where animated snowflakes actually respond to your movement . We couldn’t help but step on them and watch the magic happen.
Familiar Faces and New Friends
Of course, some old favourites are back too. Winnie the Pooh and friends from the Hundred Acre Wood have their own dreamy tableau, and we spotted Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and Woody from Toy Story looking as vibrant as ever. There’s even a display featuring characters from the upcoming Toy Story 5, including newcomers Lilypad and Smarty Pants. We love how the exhibit keeps things fresh while still honouring the classics.
Other themed areas celebrate Disney Princesses like Belle, Jasmine, and Rapunzel. Each character is carefully crafted using different flowers and plants that reflect their personalities. Hydrangeas and dusty miller bring the icy tones of Frozen to life, while lilies and roses add a romantic touch to the princess displays. The attention to detail is honestly incredible.
When Disney Goes Local
Now, here’s the part that made us smile the most. There’s a playful “Go Local” section that reimagines Disney characters in distinctly Singaporean settings. Picture this: Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck sharing a bowl of laksa, and Mickey Mouse himself preparing teh tarik alongside Donald Duck It’s such a warm, charming nod to our local culture, and it made us feel like Disney truly has a special place in their heart for Singapore.
Behind the Magic
We learned something fascinating during our visit. The displays were hand-assembled using more than 40 species of preserved and dried floral materials, requiring over 16,000 man-hours to complete . That level of dedication and artistry is what makes this exhibition feel so special. It’s not just about seeing characters you love; it’s about appreciating the craft that brings them to life in a whole new way.
Tips for Your Visit
Before you head down, here are a few things to know beforehand:
Ticket Prices: Admission is S$24 for adults and S$16 for children for non-residents, but Singapore residents get a significantly better rate. We’ve heard locals can get in for as low as S$12, so make sure to bring proof of residency when you purchase your tickets .
Timing: The exhibition is open daily from 10am to 9pm, with last admission at 8.30pm. We recommend visiting on a weekday if you can, as weekends can get quite crowded.
Photography: While you’ll definitely want to capture every moment, keep in mind that tripods and camera stands are not permitted in Floral Fantasy to facilitate crowd movement .
Merchandise: Don’t miss the Disney-themed shop at the exit. Unlike the usual Gardens by the Bay souvenir stores, this one is packed with Disney apparel, stationery, snacks, and collectibles. There are even claw machines and gacha machines if you’re feeling lucky!
